Home Service
A handyman team made up of and run by people with mental health challenges. They travel around the city by bike and in their electric vans to perform odd jobs for fellow residents who are unable to do them themselves. The Homeservice team knows from personal experience what it means to face adversity and is happy to lend a helping hand.
The Homeservice job coaches ensure that the tasks are completed with care and in a pleasant manner.
How does it work?
Homeservice’s service providers perform odd jobs for people who are unable to do them themselves and who have no one else to help them.
Homeservice performs various types of odd jobs:
· Small household jobs (such as hanging a light fixture or replacing a lock)
· Yard work
· Installing laminate flooring
· Small and large moving and transportation jobs
· Cleanup jobs (not including packing for a move)
The cost for these jobs is €10 per worker per day. You are responsible for paying for any necessary materials. Homeservice operates in Amsterdam, Weesp, and Diemen.
You can find more information about the jobs, liability, costs, and parking here.
